God's Plan of Salvation
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
 | The Plan
STEP 1
Recognize God's Plan - Peace and Life
God loves you and wants you to experience His peace and life. The Bible says..."For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
STEP 2
Realize Our Problem - Separation
People choose to disobey God and go their own way. This results in separation from God. The Bible says..."For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23
STEP 3
Respond to God's Remedy - The Cross
God sent His Son to bridge the gap that separates us from Him. Christ did this by paying the penalty for our sins when He died on the cross and rose from the grave. The Bible says..."But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
STEP 4
Receive Christ - As Savior
You cross the bridge into God's family when you prayerfully ask Christ to come into your life. The Bible says..."But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12
How to receive Christ:
1. Admit your need. (I am a sinner.)
2. Be willing to turn from your sins. (Repent.)
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Recieve Him as Lord and Savior.)
What to Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite Jesus to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow Him as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
