Pastor Aaron Hargis joined the staff of Solid Rock Baptist Church in 2010 upon graduating from Bible college and was ordained to the Gospel ministry shortly thereafter. Having faithfully served in a variety of ministry roles, he was called to serve as Lead Pastor in 2018. With a passion for expository preaching, Pastor Aaron is committed to faithfully proclaiming God’s Word, shepherding God’s people, and leading the church in fulfilling Christ’s mission of making disciples. Beyond the church, he also serves the community as Chaplain for the Pendleton Police Department. Pastor Aaron and his wife, Kate, are grateful to serve the Lord together while raising their three children.

Pastor Ron Young has faithfully served at Solid Rock Baptist Church since 2024. With a background in education and a master’s degree from a Christian College, he brings a passion for studying God’s Word and a gifted ability to teach it with clarity and conviction. In addition to preaching and teaching, Pastor Ron oversees several ministries, including our Nursing Home Ministry, Greeting Team, and Singles Growth Group, helping equip believers to grow in their faith and serve others. He and his wife, Erin, are grateful to serve the Lord alongside their four children as they invest in the life and ministry of our church.

Chris Mauldin joined the staff of Solid Rock Baptist Church in 2026 after faithfully serving as a volunteer in our youth and children’s ministries for five years. With a heart for serving others and a passion for reaching the next generation, Chris brings strong leadership, compassion, and organization to our church’s largest ministries. Chris’s military background has shaped his commitment to excellence and discipline, which are evident in the way he serves. He and his wife, Brei, work together to equip volunteers, invest in families, and create an environment where children can grow in their relationship with Christ. Chris and Brei are grateful to serve the Lord together while teaching their three children the joy and importance of faithful service.

Rhonda King joined the staff of Solid Rock Baptist Church in 2019 and has become an invaluable part of the ministry team. With a servant’s heart and a love for the Lord, Ms. Rhonda faithfully serves behind the scenes as the steady presence that helps keep the church office moving forward. Her passion for God’s Word, commitment to the Great Commission, and deep respect for pastoral leadership are evident in all she does. Whether caring for the details of office ministry or preparing meals that bless our church family, Ms. Rhonda joyfully uses her gifts to serve others and glorify Christ. Above all, she treasures her relationship with Jesus and desires to leave a legacy of faith for the grandchildren God has blessed her with, praying they will come to know and follow Christ through her example.

Hannah Howaniec joined the staff of Solid Rock Baptist Church in 2024, though she has faithfully been a part of the church family since 2013. Having developed her musical gifts from a young age and continued her training while studying Education at a Christian college, Hannah brings both excellence and a heart for ministry to every aspect of our music program. Her desire is to use music to glorify God, encourage believers, and help prepare hearts to worship the Lord. Hannah is faithfully supported by her husband as they serve the Lord together while raising their three children.
