Face/Off explained (hockey, competition). Jacob was a trickster. Sure he had spent some time with God and had amazing moments of seeing God, but now it’s all catching up to him. He is about to meet Esau, his brother that he tricked years earlier into getting his birthright. But Jacob’s greatest enemy wasn’t Esau, it was himself. God wanted to get the Jacob out of Jacob.
