Justice is Served

God sends Amos, a man with no credentials, to confront the wealth and wickedness of Israel. Amos rings out, "Thus saith the Lord," as he pronounces judgment on some of Israel's enemies. While the comfortable and corrupt Israelites reveled in approaching judgment for others, they should have been examining their own standing with the Lord. Are we so eager to see God’s judgment on the wicked that we do not pause to examine our own heart and life?
